Stationery Awards

Each year the London Stationery Show plays host to the fantastic Stationery Awards. This year the judging panel includes Cult Pen founders, Amanda and Simon Walker, Sidonie Warren, founder of Papersmiths,Lucy Wilson, Related Products Buyer for Waterstones and Jo Irons of Bureau Direct.

Entry for the awards is open to all of the show’s exhibitors across 11 product categories.Plus, new for 2018 a Good Design’ Award is being introduced as part of the show’s design initiative. For this award the judges will be on the look out for great ideas that are well-crafted, demonstrate stand-out creativity and are delivered beautifully.

As well as the awards taking place at the show, this year’s event sees the biggest lineup of show features to date. Retailer Workshops, Live Talks, Creative Stationery Workshops and Trends Tours make up this year’s programme of exciting features.

The line-up of Creative Stationery Workshops sponsored this year by Reeves, is jam packed with ideas as to how retailers can further engage with their customers in-store. Spaces are still available and can be booked via the show’s website. This is supported by the Association for Creative Industries UK (AFCI) team, and headed up by Creative Industries Editor Julie Bonnar, who will be making sure everything runs smoothly on the day.
This year’s show in numbers…

• This is the eighth time the London Stationery Show has run
• 79 exhibitors are either new to the show, didn’t exhibit last year, or are one of the show’s 12 LaunchPad winners
• In addition, more than 300 brands and licenses are also represented
• 27 exhibitors are travelling from abroad to be at the show, and many more overseas brands are being hosted by UK distributors. The countries represented are Australia, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Italy, Malaysia, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and the USA
