We have understandably received many emails and phone calls from you all, requesting an update on Scotland’s Trade Fair Spring and Scotland’s Speciality Food Show in January, in light of the recent government announcements regarding the pandemic.
As things stand it is very much our intention that the exhibition goes ahead in January and this will remain the case, unless of course the Scottish Government changes it’s guidelines and mandates that events of our nature are unable to proceed.
Should things change we will of course advise you immediately.
We currently have measures in place for both exhibitors and visitors that require:
- Mandatory facemask to be worn (unless exempt)
- Proof of vaccine passport to enter the venue or a recent negative lateral flow test or proof of medical exemption
- Antibacterial hand sanitation measures throughout the venue
These measures are stricter than the Scottish Government currently require for business events, so we are confident the environment is a safe one.
We are well aware of how uncertain the current situation is as we go into Christmas and please feel free to call or email us if you have any questions you would like to ask.
Kind regards,
Mark, Becky, Jak, Sallie, Stacey and Angelina
